Two - She's got my back!

Whatever it is, she supports me 100%! We have a wonderful partnership, and she is always on my side. We make decisions together, even when her opinion is more informed than mine. It makes me feel so blessed. I just love being her partner.

She treats me like a king, in so many ways. It makes it easier for me to do nice things for her, because she is always doing nice things for me. It makes me feel like I want to try to keep up with her (there goes that quid pro quo again!).

And even when she disagrees with me (or some action I take), she supports me publicly, and talks to me about it later, privately. And she does it with such tenderness and love, that it is never a downer. It makes it easy for me to treat her the same way.

One - Paddington

I decided I would like to make my own list of 100 things about my FW, in the spirit of our unspoken tradition of quid pro quo. You see, she has started this wonderful collection of a hundred things about me that she finds awesome. So here is number one: she took care of Paddington the whole time we were apart. Somehow, this struck me to my soul, that she held on to this stuffed teddy bear. Finding out about Paddy told me that she also held on to something we had long ago. All this time I thought it was just me thinking about her. So Paddington is a physical, concrete representation of the flame we each nurtured for the other. It really meant a lot, that she kept him and took such great care of him. And then she featured him at our wedding. We haven't really discussed it, but I think we both see that little bear as a symbol of our love.
