Twenty-Five - She's the wind beneath my wings

Don't you know that you're my hero?

Okay, I don't want to sound trite or anything, but my Robin recently pulled me up out of a deep funk by saying all the right things to get me back on track. My mood had been somber for a few days, and I was bottling it all in, and all of a sudden I let it out a little to her, after trying to be the strong silent type (read: silently suffering). Well, she helped me turn it around just by having faith in me and expressing it just so. And it made all the difference. Baby, you are the air in my sails!

Twenty-Four - Get your motor running.

Hey, we get a two-for-one deal here. My sweetheart warms up the bed at night. For some reason she runs about 5 degrees warmer than me. (It seems like it should be the other way around.) At night, I can't quite get warm if she's not in bed before me. And in the morning, if she gets out first, I have to fight to stay warm

And the second one? Why, she warms up my truck for me on cold mornings. So when I get in, the interior is all toasty. Awesome!

Twenty-Three - James Spader or Gene Hackman?

Growing up, my mom would ask me "what was the name of that guy in that movie, the one where the..." and I would guess correctly before she even gave me enough to go on. Some sort of shared brain wavelength may have been going on, but usually it seemed we were both watching the same show on TV, and some actor would remind us both of that other actor, and so she would want to know the name of the guy I was already thinking about.

Well, my wife and I play a similar game. But now it is me who is wondering who the actor is. Meanwhile, she is already thinking about the actor's name, and trying to send it to me. Sometimes it works. But it is always fun, whether I get it or not. Awesome.

Twenty-Two - Cranberries

Whether it's Dolores Mary Eileen O'Riordan and bandmates, or the little red tangy berries themselves, my baby knows what I like, and always keeps plenty on hand.

From berries to bananas, from socks to a-shirts, she makes sure all my needs are met. How lucky can a guy be?

Twenty-One - Cook's treat

My baby is always cooking something up, and I always get a little taste. I'll be sitting in front of the TV unwinding, and she'll bring over a spoonful of some new dish she's whipping up. How thoughtful, how kind. How awesome!

Twenty - She's quick to forgive

Let's just say that I manage to stay out of the doghouse, when I probably should be there.
